Known Issues

To use the Speak function of CITS to speak Chinese, you must install the Microsoft Text-to-Speech engine 5.1. CITS will set it up for you during installation. However, under some circumstances, it may not be setup correctly. If this happens, insert the CITS install CD into the CD-ROM drive and setup the Text-to-Speech engine separately.

If your computer doesn’t have a sound card installed, don’t use the Speak function of CITS. It will cause the system to stop responding. This is a known issue and will be fixed in the next version.
